The Jewish Motorcyclists Alliance will be holding the 2020 Ride-To-Remember in San Diego, California from April 30, 2020 through May 3, 2020. Based upon the early responses from our club members, this is shaping up to be the largest and most well attended Ride-To-Remember west of the Mississippi in the history of the JMA.
The Holocaust Education charity selected this year is The Butterfly Project. Based in San Diego, this highly worthy organization is nationally known. It is likely to have a memorial display of their ceramic butterflies in your city or near by. If you are not familiar with the Butterfly Project, and the important work it is doing, you really must check them out at www.notthelastbutterfly.com If you haven’t attended an R2R recently, it is about time that you join us in San Diego. This one you will not want to miss!
Some members will be riding their motorcycles from their home towns, some will ship their bikes, and others will fly out and rent bikes. A group ride in from Arizona is in the process of being organized. The group will leave Phoenix five-days before the event in San Diego. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to ride across some of the best and most dramatic roads in the continent with 30 or 40 or you closest friends (some of whom you have not met yet.) More details will follow, stay tuned. However you choose to get there, we will all be there to greet you and enjoy San Diego and the Pacific Ocean together. This year we have simplified the registration for everybody—one price will cover all the R2R group activities for the entire weekend. No more making sure that you bring the right color ticket for the specific meal or event. This makes it simpler and less complicated for all of us.
Registration will go live on November 1st. Check it out @ https://www.ride2remember.com/ .
If you have any questions, please email Lauren Secular, BBear88@aol.com or Danny Herbst, Beacon145@hotmail.com for more information.

While in the area Friday afternoon option
And for something totally different for R2R2020, I have booked a "training session" with Caliber 3 Israeli Counter Terror and Security Academy following lunch on Friday afternoon. Our family spent a few hours at their facility in Israel and found it incredibly informative, entertaining, and was a great experience.
Learn about counter terrorism in Israel and around the world from IDF experts in the field. Discuss security for your religious institutions. Watch or participate in a Krav Maga training session.
Where: Caliber 3 San Marcos
When: Friday May 1, 14:30-16:00 We will leave as a group from lunch and should be back in plenty of time for Shabbat.
Open to: First 20 registered R2R participants who PM me (Facebook Friends) or leave a comment. This is not a guys only event!!! You must commit to attend.
